Please join us on Tuesday March 9th from 12 - 1 pm for a virtual presentation on Employee Assistance Programs, How they Benefit both the Employer and Employee. Presented by Amanda Cottage with Butler Health System.

This is a FREE presentation for our members and any guests who would like to attend. All attendees need to register for the presentation. GoToMeeting information will be provided via a confirmation email.

The goal of the training is to teach participants the structure of an Employee Assistance Program, and how this structure allows for: increased productivity in the work place, positive workplace relationships, and less frequent employee burnout.  Participants will learn key aspects of what an Employee Assistance Program does for their employees, and will work together on ethical dilemmas where an Employee Assistance Program provides key resources.

By the end of this training, participants will be able to:

  • Understand the structure of an EAP, and define key concepts
  • Identify various models of an EAP, and which model is best suited for various employers
  • Know the benefits of an EAP for the employee and employer
  • Connect when an employee may need assistance from an EAP, and how to make that referral
