Please join us on August 11th from 12 - 1 pm for a virtual meeting on "When Veteran Hiring Works & When Veteran Hiring Goes Wrong". This is a free presentation for our members as well as any guests who would like to attend.

Crystal McFadden is a local speaker and writer, Licensed Professional Counselor, and the Pittsburgh Program Manager for the globally respected non-profit, Vet Jobs. Vet Jobs is formerly known as and still powered by "CASY" (pronounced - kay-see), funded in western Pennsylvania by the Heinz Endowments. Crystal specializes in navigating barriers and creating resiliency with manageable solutions for groups, organizations, and individuals. 

As a United States Navy veteran herself who served active duty Post 9/11 and is now a Pennsylvania Army National Guard spouse, working in the human resource space as it relates to military affiliated talent has been a positive and productive fit for the companies, the talent, the academic institutions and the community non-profits throughout the region. Through her work in Pittsburgh accompanied by the support and expertise of the Vet Jobs and Military Spouse Jobs national team, over 600 veterans, guard members, reservists and military spouses have been placed in meaningful employment over the past two years with an average salary of 60k. Her goal is to see a mutually beneficial match between our diverse military affiliated opportunity seekers and the organizations in which they are hired to promote cost effective job placement, stronger workforces, and growth minded retention.
