Presented by Sandra Mapus

This presentation is designed to:

  • Educate employers on best practices for returning to work as the coronavirus disease (COVID-19) pandemic flattens out and temporary laws, guidelines and restrictions are lifted.
  • Prepare employers on how to mitigate risks and establish best practices for working in a post-coronavirus workplace.
  • Provide appropriate and accurate resources for employers regarding COVID-19, and employee health and wellness.

Bio: Sandra Mapus started out her career in finance as the accounting manager of a non-profit where she worked for 5 years. After going back to school for a B.A. in Human Resources Management, she moved on to be the head of Human Resources of a large technology company for 13 years. During that time, the company grew from 12 employees locally to over 350 globally, including overseeing three acquisitions and opening five locations globally. The market shifted and she decided it was time for a career change but wanted to remain in the Human Resources field. She found her next opportunity working for BOST Benefits, a brokerage firm, which offered her the chance to help improve services and support HR needs for their brokers, as well work as an HR consultant and broker for many of their clients. Sandra’s main goal is to make sure her clients and colleagues have the tools and resources to provide their employees with the best benefits at the best prices, all while offering technology to those who don't have it, full compliance, and employee education.
