You may believe that Stress is a useful motivator, when it pertains to your employees accomplishing their tasks. However, it is only useful if they are adept with the ability to be able to decrease it as well. If left uninhibited, Stress will erode your employees’ disposition, productivity, and eventually their health. In turn it may lead to: conflict amongst coworkers, low morale, increases in errors, poor work performance, frequent absenteeism, and higher health care costs. According to an article in Harvard Business Review; health care expenditures at high-pressure companies are nearly 50% greater than at other organizations, 60% of workplace accidents are attributed to Stress, and more than 80% of doctor visits are due to Stress. 

 

Even though Stress can drain your workforce and your company's resources, its negative influence can be decreased through the development of awareness with stress reduction techniques. Stress Management educates your employee group as to the origin of tension, as well as empower them with the ability to release it.
